TOT for RePLANT staff held in Nepalgunj

February 11, 2023: Training of Trainers (TOT) for Staffs on Hermetic technologies, microfinance and crop insurance was held in Nepalgunj from Feb 8-10, 2023.
The TOT was organized by iDE for the core staff of SDF from Banke and RWDC from Dang district that are the implementing partners of the project “RePLANT”. A total of 14 staffs including representatives of SDF and RWDC were present in the training program.
The first day training was mainly focused on hermetic bags, field visits and practicals on hermetic technology, while the second day was focused on crop insurance for the small holder farmers and ways to claim insurance. The third and last day was focused on loans to the farmers with the support of Muktinath development bank.
