RWDC provides matching fund to Rapti RM to buy Moisture Meter

August 16, 2023: Dang Ghorahi: Rural Women Development Center -RWDC has provided a matching fund of Rs 20,000 to purchase a moisture meter to Rapti Rural Municipality recently.
With the support of this matching fund provided by RWDC, the Rapti Rural Municipality could purchase a moisture meter at a market price of Rs 50,000 (with Rs 30,000 invested by Rapti RM). This moisture meter is used by farmers to measure the percentage of moisture present in the cereal crops which needs to be stored in the storage systems such as Hermetic bag or any other storage systems.
The matching fund from RWDC was given as a matching fund under the RePLANT project funded by USAID/iDE being launched by RWDC in five municipalities of Dang district including the Rapti R.M.
Srishti Shah the Program officer and Finance Officer Sancha Bahadur Chaudhary on behalf of RWDC and RePLANT team handed over the moisture meter to Rapti R.M administrative chief Neb Bahadur Oli.
