RWDC observes Sunita’s 8th commemoration Day
Dang Ghorahi-15: December 15, 2021: Rural Women Development -RWDC -or Gramin Mahila Utthan Kendra and Sunita Trust Foundation have jointly observed the 8th commemoration day of late Sunita Chaudhary who had contributed to the growth and development of RWDC voluntarily since its inception days and had passed away at a tender age.
The day was observed amidst a function held at RWDC hall in Ghorahi Dang under the founding chairmanship of Aasmani Chaudhary and founding legal advisor Shogat Bir Chaudhary.
Present on the occasion were editor and publisher Sakuntala Gautam of Gaurakshak daily, vice president of FNJ Basundhar Gautam, local feminist leader Sushila Acharya, life member Rajani Shrestha, Advisor Thaman Chaudhary, who all expressed their heartfelt condolence to Sunita Chaudhary.
The senior staff members of RWDC and Aatmanirbhar LBS including Bhim Kanta Chaudhary, HB Thapa, Nepal Bahadur Chaudhary, Kulpu Chaudhary expressed their condolence to Sunita Chaudhary.
Similarly, several others peers of Sunita including Santali Chaudhary also spoke about the contribution of the late Sunita Chaudhary.
The program attended by over 70 was hosted by RWDC staff and information officer Parbati Basnet, while Shogat Bir Chaudhary and Aasmani Chaudhary were the key speakers who remembered the contribution of Sunita towards the development of RWDC in the past.
Half a dozen well-wishers, staff members including, Creating Possibilities Nepal-CPNepal- Nep Bahadur Chaudhary, Basanti Shrestha, Jipsara Gharti, Sushila Giri during the program have announced to be life members of Sunita Trust Foundation by contributing Rs 10,000 ( ten thousand rupees) per head.
