RWDC Holds Strategic Plan Review Workshop
Ghorahi: October 20, 2021: Rural Women Development Center (Gramin Mahila Utthan Kendra) held its five years strategic plan review workshop on October 20 at its conference hall in Ghorahi-15, which is expected to conclude on October 21.

The first-day strategic plan review workshop facilitated by consultant Sunil Shakya via the virtual method (11 am to 4 pm) from Kathmandu was presided over by RWDC chair Aasmani Chaudhary.

Chair Aasmani Chaudhary also welcomed the participants and highlighted the objective of the review workshop after which the consultant Shakya briefed about the forms and formats of plan review for the year 2019-2020.
The total participants included as many as 15 including 7 females and 8 males representing programs of SLVC-II, CSMAP, and representatives from Sunita Trust Foundation.

The participants were divided into five groups representing governance, livelihood, education, disaster, and climate change, and Health and Nutrition themes to review the action plan for years 2019 -2020.
The three of the five groups presented their plans before Sunil Shakya for feedback.
On the second day too, the participants prepared new action plans focusing on five themes (livelihood, governance, education, disaster, climate change, Health, and Nutrition for the new fiscal year 2021-2022 and presented them before the consultant to get feedbacks. The workshop has concluded on October 21 too.
