RWDC holds 2 days Inter-cooperative Interaction Program

November 25, 2021: Rural Women Development Center (RWDC) or Gramin Mahila Utthan Kendra has concluded two day inter-cooperative interaction program on Rural Women’s Social Entrepreneurship at Lamahi Municipality on November 23-24 under Strengthening Smallholders Farmers Organization for Livestock Value Chain (SLVC II) Project activity supported by Heifer International Nepal, which is being implemented by RWDC in Dang, Salyan, and Pyunthan districts.
A total 39 participants representing two board members and one staff from each of the 12 cooperatives had proactively participated in the program. The program was organized with the objective of creating interaction between the co-operatives once a year, creating opportunities for co-operative members to learn and exchange their knowledge and experience about each other's activities as well as sharing information about their duties and responsibilities and making upcoming annual work plan of their co-operatives.
