RWDC conducts 16 days activism against gender violence
Rural Women Development Center-RWDC- has conducted a one day program on “16 days Activism against gender violence in Ghorahi-15 at the conference hall of RWDC.
The chief guest of this program was Dhanapati Yadav, who is vice chief of Rajpur Rural Municipality in Dang district. The RWDC chair Aasmani
Chaudhary was the chair on the occasion while a dozen of local feminist leaders including Sushila Acharya, Basundara Gautam were present on the occasion.
The program was attended by more than 50 participants representing various organizations including LDAG and CA of CSMAP. The speakers such as Dil Bahadur Gharti, Human rightist Binod KC, Bhim Kant Chaudhary, Susila Acharya, Rajani Shrestha had spoken about the importance of this activism in the society.
Parbati Basnet had mastered the ceremony, while chair Aasmani Chaudhary had concluded the program with her concluding remarks on the occasion.
The program was one of the activities organized under the CSMAP project funded by USAID, technically supported by FHI360 and implemented by RWDC in Dang district since 2017 till date.
