RPAC held in Rapti Rural Municipality

September 7, 2023: Dang Ghorahi: Rural Women Development Centre (RWDC) held its Rapti Rural Municipality Project Advisory Committee (RPAC) meeting and field visits at Pipari in Dang district on September 7.
The program which began at around 8 am was presided over by Rapti Rural Municipality chief Prakash Bista while other RPAC members including the ward no 8 chairperson Mr Gurung and other department heads of Rapti RM also attended the meeting.
Speaking on the occasion Rapti chief Bista stressed the need to work in coordination and cooperation with other allies such as RWDC in the field of development in the region as only the local government efforts can not suffice to serve the welfare of the people.
Likewise, RWDC founding legal advisor Shogat Bir Chaudhary also expressed his opinion how since the inception of the RWDC, it has been working for the welfare of the marginalized communities in the society. The program objectives were highlighted by Program Coordinator H.B Thapa, while program targets and achievements were discussed by Program Officer Sangit Adhikari on the occasion.
Soon after this meeting the team engaged in the field visit and learning sharing activities in the field to see the paddy and maize plantation through the methods of integrated pest management. Then the Hermetic bags (PICS bags) and cereal storage in few houses were observed by the team.
