OVER1500 CLIENT MEMBERS RECEIVE FINANCIAL LITERACY TRAINING

January 2, 2023: Dang Ghorahi: Rural Women Development Center -RWDC (Gramin Mahila Utthan Kendra) in close coordination with Aatmanirbhar LBS has conducted financial literacy training to over 1500 rural women targeting its client members in Tulsipur, Narayanpur, Ghorahi, Bhalubang and Rajpur rural municipality in the last fiscal year 2021/2022/023.
A total of 1500 client members of Aatmanirbhar LBS have been oriented on financial literacy which gives the rural women clients the very basic knowledge about how to save money regularly, how to make investments in business, and how to make the maximum use of loans taken from microfinance on group collateral basis.
The financial literacy training was provided at 55 places by RWDC facilitator Madhaba Pokharel.
Aatmanirbhar LBS is another entity of RWDC which has been recognized as the D-class microfinance institution (laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha limited) to engage in the reduction of poverty in the country.
