RWDC organized Free Camp of Sickle Cell Anemia at Narayanpur

June 18,2023: Dang: Rural Women Development (RWDC) or Gramin Mahila Utthan Kendra has organized a free camp for Sickle Cell Anemia in Dang district at Narayanpur ward no 10, Health post on June 17, 2023.
The organizer RWDC had called upon (requested) all potential patients of sickle cell or persons showing symptoms of repeated joint pains, repeated jaundice, heart pain, joint pain to attend this free sickle cell camp at Narayanpur in Dang district.
Persons in the age group of 15 to 25 were asked to attend this camp. However, despite this age range, any one from any age group having the major symptoms of Sickle cell anemia could attend this camp.
Over 400 persons attended this camp of which 41 were found sickle cell positive.
This sickle cell camp was funded under the corporate social responsibility of American Met Life Insurance and was being organized in close coordination with district health office and ward no 10 based health post in Narayanpur. The detailed report on this event will follow later:
