NIVAS board team all the way from US to RWDC, Rajpur and Gadhawa field

Most spectacularly the board of directors including Mike, Mark, Mel and executive director Lindsey representing US Denvar based NIVAS organization along with Impact and Innovation Director Susma Shrestha visited RWDC office on December 5, 2024 during which the whole NIMAS team was given a warm welcome with a reception at the premises of the RWDC central office in Ghorahi Dang.
The NIVAS team was welcomed by RWDC Chairperson Aasmani Chaudhary and her staff team with flower garlands offering to the visiting guests on the occasion.
The meeting of NIVAS team with RWDC team began with brief introduction of all individuals present in the meeting which Bhimkant Chaudhary facilitated, while Susma Shrestha translated from English to Nepali and Nepali to English.
After this, Meera Chaudhary introduced the meeting with an RWDC organizational presentation, which was followed by Parbati Basnet, the project coordinator, presenting the project activity before the visiting team of NIVAS.
The meeting ended by 11 am and the NIVAS and RWDC team headed for the field visits to Gadhawa rural municipality where the team visited 2 models housing and 2 partial housing followed by design workshops with Gadhawa RM officials.
Late in the evening, the team of NIVAS and RWDC met at Kabila Resort to celebrate the visit of the day and the main achievements.
Both the RWDC and NIVAS team members also took part in the house-entering ceremony for Shyam Kumari Chaudhary at Lalpur ward no 5 in Gadhawa RM on November 5.
Similarly, on November 6, the team took part in the model house entering ceremony for Nirmala Khatri at Rajpur RM Bela No 2.
