MPAC Lamahi concludes

November 3, 2023: RWDC has organized its Lamahi Municipality Project Advisory Committee (MPAC) meeting and sharing session of the RePLANT project on November 3, 2023, in the meeting hall of Lamahi Municipality.
The MPAC formation and meeting was chaired by Mayor Jhograj Chaudhary Deputy Mayor Laxmi Yogi and other members of the municipality as the MPAC members.
The meeting started with a video show of a PICS bag that is equipped with hermetic technology which is used for grain storage among the farmers of Rapti, Lamahi, Ghorahi, Tulsipur, and Dangisharan rural municipality.
This was followed by RWDC institutional presentation by information and documentation officer Parbati Basnet of RWDC after which RePLANT program officer Sangit Adhikari presented his slides on the project objective and achievements.
The remaining session was focussed on a question-answer session followed by speeches from a few participants followed by concluding remarks of the Mayor and Deputy Mayor during which both speakers stressed the need to go hand in hand in distributing the PICS bags among needy farmers.
The program was hosted by Parbati Basnet of RWDC.
