Leadership and Communication Workshop concludes

A leadership and communication workshop has been completed in Ghorahi, Dang on June 4, 2024 which had begun on Jun 2, 2024.

The two-day leadership and communication workshop was organized by the Rural Women Development Centre-RWDC, Dang.

The program was conducted under the chairmanship of Aasmani Chaudhary, the president of RWDC , and the chief guest was the founding advisor of the organization, Saugat Bir Chaudhary.

In the program, chief guest Chaudhary stated that the workshop would play an important role in societal transformation and change. He highlighted the necessity of such programs for employees, as leadership development and communication are also crucial in producing skilled human resources and in achieving the desired results as per the vision, mission and goals of the organization.

Aasmani Chaudhary, the president of the organization, mentioned that the institution was established with the objective of creating a self-reliant and empowered society. She informed that the institution has been uplifting women, minorities, and marginalized groups in the community and that the workshop was conducted to enhance the capacity of employees working in that area.

Participant Sushila Giri, an internal auditor at Aatmanirbhar Microfinance Financial Institution Limited, stated that commitment and dedication in work would lead to achieving goals and institutional development.

Similarly, Mamata Chaudhary from the RWDC said that the workshop would play an important role in understanding life and performing tasks with planning. She also expressed her commitment to applying the skills learned in the workshop in practice.

Similarly participants including, H.B. Thapa, Trishna Chaudhary, Puran Adhikari, and others shared their experiences about the two days training.

The trainer for the two-day workshop was Sushma Shrestha, the Director of Innovation and Impact of NIVAS and international trainer. The program was facilitated by Program Coordinator Parbati Basnet.

The training mainly focused on DAC (Direction, alignment and Commitment) in any organization to achieve the expected results where direction means goal of the organization, alignment means role of the staff and commitment means the soul or deliverance of the activities. Most of the two days activities were based on games full of fun and the participants enjoyed the workshop very much.
