Kick off meeting for Re-PLANT Project Partnership held
November 23. 2022: Rural Women Development Center-RWDC or Gramin Mahila Utthan Kendra and international development agency iDE are to sign a project agreement for “Reducing Post Harvest losses through Access to New Technologies”( Re-PLANT ) funded by USAID, for its implementation in five municipalities of Dang district with effect from December 1, 2022, very soon.
A preliminary kick-off meeting to this effect between the RWDC board, officials, and iDE officials was held in Ghorahi on November 23, 2022. The iDE top officials were represented by Asta Prajapati, Khim Giri, and Kalpana Dhital while RWDC chair Aasmani Chaudhary, board member Madhaba Pokharel and other senior staff members were also present on the occasion.
The kick-off meeting was moderated by RWDC information officer Parbati Basnet.
The mutual agreement is likely to be signed within the last week of November. The detailed implementation plan will be discussed in the upcoming inception meeting to be held in the mid of December 2022. The project has a duration of 15 months.
