March 16, 2023: Integrated Pest Management (IPM) package demonstration for cereal crop (maize) was held at Rampur village of Dangisharan Rural Municipality on March 15, 2023.

The IPM packaged was organized by Rural Women Development Center- RWDC-as part of implementation of “Reducing Post harvest losses through access to new technologies (RePLANT) project being funded by USAID and supported by iDE.

The IPM package demonstration was felicitated by RWDC -RePlANT insurance supervisor Arbind Chaudhary. Resource person from Dangisharan R. Municipality supported the demonstration of maize related pests and its management.

RWDC -RePLANT project coordinator Hit Bahadur Thapa and Finance officer Sancha Chaudhary were also present on the occasion.

Over 44 participants (farmers) took part in the demonstrations.

Similarly, Supervisor Sarita Rana also organized a one day IPM Package Demonstration for cereal crops in Deukhuri Dang. Over 30 farmers participated in the demonstration program.
