Interaction with Muktinath Bank and SIPL

May 31, 2023: An interaction program with alliance partners of RePLANT project Muktinath Bank and Sidhartha Premier Insurance Lted has been accomplished in Ghorahi -15 at Mala Inn on May 30, 2023.
The program participants were welcomed by RWDC chairperson Aasmani Chaudhary, the objectives were highlighted by iDE field program manager Kalpana Dhital and program details were presented by iDE Marketing Development Officer Sudip Karki, while participants of Muktinath Bank and Sidharth Premier Insurance Ltd.
The collaboration among the alliance partners is to arrive at a consensus and plan for the upcoming 1000 Kisan accounts to be opened for non-collateral loans on agriculture and 500 crop insurance to be ensured within the project period. The project has also envisioned 50 financial literacy training and 70 orientations for the targeted farmers.
The program was concluded with concluding remarks of RWDC chairperson Aasmani Chaudhary while RePLANT -PO Srishti Sha facilitated the program. The program which started after lunch at around 10 am concluded by 4 pm. The project is funded by USAID, technically supported by iDE, and implemented by RWDC in five palikas of Dang district since January 1, 2023.
