Aasmani Chaudhary Honored for Outstanding Service to community development
Ghorahi, July 21, 2024: Aasmani Chaudhary, the founding chairperson of the Rural Women Development Center (RWDC), was felicitated by the Dang Ghorahi Lions Club for her exemplary contributions to marginalized communities, rural women empowerment through, social development works, advocacy and micro enterprises.
The ceremony, held at the Mala Inn hotel in Ghorahi, on July 19, 2024 celebrated Chaudhary’s remarkable leadership and pioneering efforts in rural women entrepreneurship for empowerment.
Chaudhary was warmly welcomed and praised for her dedication to improving the lives of women in rural areas. Her work with RWDC has empowered countless women, fostering economic independence and social progress, thereby acting as a major catalyst for social transformation. The program highlighted her significant achievements and the positive impact she has made on the community.
As a token of appreciation, Chaudhary was presented with a memento and a shawl. The event, attended by local dignitaries, community leaders, and members of the Lions Club, underscored the importance of recognizing and supporting women leaders who drive change in society.
