Aasmani Chaudhary addresses 7th General Convention of Karmath Samajik Udhami Mahila Cooperatives
Dang Ghorahi-15, January 13, 2021: Gramin Mahila Utthan Kendra (Rural Women Development Center-RWDC) chairperson Mrs Aasmani Chaudhary has addressed the huge gathering of rural women at the 7th general convention organized by Karmath Samajik Udhami Mahila Cooperative at Lamahi municipality ward 9, Rihar on Tuesday.

As many as 800 members of the cooperative were present in the convention which was presided over by its current chairperson Devi Maya Thapa (75). The chief guest on the occasion was Lumbini provincial assembly member Rawati Raman Sharma, while Aasmani Chaudhary was a special guest in the program. This cooperative has a total of 1133 shareholding members.
Addressing the mammoth gathering of participants, Aasmani Chaudhary expressed that RWDC has been regularly mentoring the Karmath Samajik Udhami Mahila Cooperative ever since it was established and it got involved with SLVC project phase 1 and Phase II which has further boosted its income generation capacities and Cooperative financial capacities that has been catering to the needs of its members in ameliorating the rural poverty.
Other participants present on the occasion were SLVC Project II Coordinator Bhim Kant Chaudhary, ward 8 chairperson, Megh Narayan Chaudhary, Social worker Ambar Kanwar (Navin), the national training coordinator Narayan Belvase of National Cooperative Banks, ward member Khim Bahadur Yogi, journalist Basundhara Gautam, Sulochana Gautam, Sapana Bohara, Dashrath Ghimire.
